"I have been a State Farm customer for many years and have generally been satisfied with the company. However, my recent experience with the local Sarasota office at 5344 Clark Rd was deeply disappointing. During a phone conversation regarding a billing issue and a policy change, I raised concerns and asked questions about a significant increase in my premium after receiving what I believed to be conflicting information. I had been assured that once I signed the required forms, which I did, my insurance rate would not increase. However, I later received an official notice stating that my bank account would be automatically charged an auto insurance premium that was more than 60% higher than before. This unexpected increase raised serious concerns, including concerns about the legal nature of the process, and prompted me to contact the office for clarification. Instead of receiving a calm and professional explanation, I experienced behavior that I found dismissive and unprofessional, including REPEATED LAUGHTER during the call after I had clearly stated that I did not find the situation amusing and expected to be treated with respect. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met. Although the billing issue was eventually explained and corrected, the way I was treated as a customer left a lasting negative impression. What disappointed me even more was the owner's response. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or recognizing that the way I was treated was inappropriate, the owner chose to deny that any problem had occurred and did not offer even a simple apology. That response made it clear to me that my concerns as a customer were not taken seriously. For that reason, I decided to cancel my policy with this agency and take my business elsewhere. Looking back, it turned out to be the right decision. I switched to another insurance company, where I was treated with the courtesy, professionalism, and respect that every customer deserves. I am sharing this review not to dispute insurance procedures, but to emphasize the importance of respectful communication and customer service. Every customer deserves to be listened to, treated professionally, and taken seriously when raising legitimate concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to anyone who values professional, respectful, and customer-focused service."

Today was the first time I had spoken to anyone in their office - I called to ask some questions about my coverage that I have been confused about and was so impressed with the help I received !
Agent Keira Grele was who I spoke to. Keira was so knowledgable, professional and kind. She listened and aand understood what I was asking right anway and never had to put me on hold to find the answers. What I thought was going to be a long call was very quick because she knew the answers! And she didn’t make me feel rushed at all.
I stored her name next to the phone number in my contacts so I will ask for her if I need any help in the future.
