Hello and welcome to the James Meroni State Farm Agency in sunny Sarasota! We serve the entire state of Florida with a primary focus on Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties. Locally, we serve the towns of Sarasota, Bradenton, Bee Ridge, Palmer Ranch, Skye Ranch, Lakewood Ranch, South Gate, Sarasota Springs, Siesta Key, Fruitville, Osprey, Venice, Nokomis, Vamo, North Port, and Laurel. We offer car insurance, home insurance, life and health insurance, flood insurance, and so much more!

We offer notary public services for no charge at all. When you arrive, you'll be greeted with a cozy reception area and offered coffee, tea, water, and free giveaways during your visit.

Some fun facts about me: I am a native Floridian and grew up in the Florida Keys. My family moved there after our home was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in 1992. State Farm was there for us and helped give us a fresh start!

I went to college at the University of Miami and double-majored in finance and business management. During college and after graduating I worked as a boat captain and divemaster, running parasail and snorkel boats and teaching sailing lessons.

I started my State Farm career in 2010 working at my father’s agency in South Florida, before earning the opportunity to start my own agency here in Sarasota! I love spending time outdoors and on the water with my wife Natacha, our 7 year old son Nico, and dog Bonzai, a long-haired dachshund.
